We’re back! If you’ve missed our old posts and are feeling nostalgic then click here for some old school reminiscing. We had a great start in September with each child beginning their new class with their new teacher. To find out more about your child’s class click on the class pages or here.

All things ICT
The new start has meant that every class has laptops available, that means that we have one laptop for every two children in the school. MLE is now up and running, bigger and better than before. This is an online classroom for every child where they can continue their learning outside of school. Make sure that your child keeps their password and login safe. Speak to your class teacher for more information. Otherwise click here for more. Some teachers have been piloting Twitter. This is a website where you can receive up to date messages. Phonics workshop
Parents in Year 1 and Year 2 had a very successful ‘How to help your child read’ workshop. The coordinator was very impressed with the enthusiasm of our parents. Inshallah we hope to be holding more workshops in the future.

Visitors
We were fortunate to a special visitor to the school recently. Shaykh Muhammad Saqqaf from Makkah. He spoke to the children regarding how children loved the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

New Teachers
We’d like to welcome two great new teachers, Teacher Aman our new reception teacher and Teacher Ruwi our new Arabic Teacher.
